Healthy Steps Program
Family Health Center in partnership with First Steps brings to you HealthySteps Zero to Three program located at our Denmark and St. Matthew's clinics. The HealthySteps program brings together your child Pediatrician (Physician Champion) and HealthySteps Specialist.
A Pediatric primary care program promoting the
health, well-being and school readiness of babies/
toddlers, with an emphasis on families. With the
goal of laying a healthy foundation of Early
Development through Infant and Early Childhood
Mental Health proactivity.
HealthySteps is a Zero to Three program seeking to
identify challenges, early and prevent others from
happening, so that young children will have a
foundation for a lifetime promoting continuous
healthy development, learning, and growth.

Healthy Steps Specialist
A child development expert, in partnership with your child pediatrician aim to bring focus to important skills needed for families to foster healthy child development and well-being
- Social Emotional Development
- Language Literacy Skills
- Cognition Skills
- Perceptual/Motor/Physical Development
The specialist aims to promote nurturing parenting and child development at well child visits. By providing information and guidance during and after the well -child check up for infants and toddlers between 0-3 years old.
