About Us

The Family Health Centers, Inc. (FHC) Family Medical Mobile Unit is a fully equipped mobile clinic featuring a primary exam room and on-site lab services. It brings comprehensive primary care directly to low-income and medically underserved patients in North, SC, and surrounding communities.

The Mobile Health Team includes a program/clinical director, medical provider, nurses, a unit health operator, and a unit coordinator. Together, they work to meet the medical needs of families where they are.

The FHC Mobile Unit supports our mission to strengthen families and improve the health of at-risk populations by bringing quality care into the heart of the community.

Claflin Partnership

Family Health Centers, Inc. and Claflin University are partnering to increase and strengthen the diversity, education, and training of the nursing workforce by providing culturally aligned, quality care in rural and underserved areas. The Nursing Education, Practice, Quality, and Retention Mobile Health Training Program (NEPQR-MHTP) is designed to recruit students from racially diverse and underprivileged backgrounds and provide an opportunity to participate in improving the quality of healthcare in the rural community.

The Family Medical Mobile Unit provides access to high-quality health care by bringing the care to your neighborhood.
