Ryan White Part B HIV/AIDS Program

The Ryan White CARE Act is a federally funded program. It consists of different types of parts or programs. Our program, Part B, is designed to help improve the quality and availability of primary health care with respect to AIDS/HIV disease.

Program Services:

The scope of services is broad and based on individual needs assessments carried out by our full staff of qualified and culturally sensitive professionals. From physicians to medical case managers, some of the tasks our team provide include:

  • Primary Care
  • HIV specialty care
  • Medical case management services
  • South Carolina AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP)
  • South Carolina ADAP Insurance Continuation Program
  • Drug companies prescription assistance programs
  • In house pharmacy
  • Medical Nutrition Services (to include nutritional supplements if needed)
  • Health education/risk reduction
  • Medical transportation services
  • Medical and medication treatment adherence counseling
  • Wellness screening for diabetes, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol
  • Outreach services
  • Rapid HIV testing
  • Condom distribution
  • Oral health care
  • Mental health services
  • Substance abuse services outpatient
